Personal Backup
An owner-operated tool for encrypted backups to Google Drive.
What it does
The tool runs locally on its owner’s computer. It uses restic to encrypt selected files before rclone transfers the backup repository to the owner’s Google Drive. It can check the repository and restore selected backup versions.
Limited account access
Google authorization uses the drive.file permission for files the app creates or that are explicitly made available to it. The tool also checks the connected account’s email address and storage quota to confirm the destination and available capacity.
Personal use only
Operated by Christopher Dossman. This is not a public backup service or an Orbital Claw customer feature. There is no public signup, and this information site cannot access or restore backups.
Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before authorizing access.
