Intended use

This is an owner-operated personal utility, not a public or managed backup service. This site provides app information only. It offers no public registration, paid plan or service-level commitment.

Account and file authorization

Use the tool only with accounts and files you are authorized to access and store. Choosing a personal Drive account does not establish permission to transfer an employer’s, client’s or another person’s data. Google’s terms and the licenses of restic and rclone continue to apply.

Backup and recovery responsibilities

The owner chooses backup sources, destination, retention and scheduling. Protect the device and credentials, maintain an independent restic recovery password copy, monitor backup results and test restoration. Encryption and successful uploads alone do not establish complete backup coverage.

Access can be interrupted by connectivity, available storage, authorization changes or software and provider failures. This tool is not a promise that any particular file has been backed up or will be recoverable. Do not remove original data solely because the tool has been configured.

Stopping use

Stop scheduled runs and revoke Google authorization to discontinue access. Separately remove backups and local configuration if desired. Revocation does not itself delete stored data. See the Privacy Policy for data handling and deletion details.
